Company Kastalyse is originally a dutch company founded in 1997 by Roy Kastelein. Several projects have been carried out for foundries amongst which a lot of benchmarks in casting simulation softwares. Advice for choice of material alloys, casting processes and gating systems are being proposed to the foundry industry as well as foundry courses are given. To keep in touch with molten metal a pewter foundry has been build with properly developed production equipment. Also the moulds are being produced in-house with focus on the quality of details in the castings. After a five years break as a consultant engineer in a foundry research centre, Kastalyse has restarted her activities in 2009.
